Yakai means Awakening in Meiteilon.

Yakai Nature School is a sincere effort to help children gently grow into conscious, conscientious, resilient, and centred human beings.

Here children learn in nature, from nature, and as a part of nature. Our school lies in the shade of lush Matai hills. The campus and the neighbourhood is a place immersed in nature. Our approach to education is largely influenced by Rudolf Steiner’s educational philosophy popularly known as Waldorf Education. Here we lovingly approach the child and guide them, conscious of their developmental journey. We strive to help the children realise their best selves – physical, mental, and spiritual.
