Kum – Yakai school festival
Kum, humbly meaning the year, is the name we gave to our annual school festival starting this year. With the culmination of the last four seasons lived in this school, it is an occasion for us to celebrate our school culture along with our well-wishers. We are dedicating this year’s festival to the memory of a much cherished chingthrao tree in our campus, which returned to earth last summer. Celebration is gratitude, and with Chingthrao gi kum we relive the joyous moments spent among its branches.

Festival report
Our annual school festival, Kum, was joyfully celebrated for the very first time last year, from December 21st to 23rd. The innaugural edition titled “Chingthrao gi Kum,” was held in loving remembrance of our beloved Chingthrao tree, which once stood tall with its wide, sheltering branches and witnessed countless cherished moments of our school community. The celebration brought together students, teachers, and parents in a colourful display of culture, music, and joy, culminating in a truly memorable day for everyone.
